After the movie Halloween, Jamie Lee Curtis
became very well-known and liked for roles in movies like
Trading Places (1983), Perfect (1985), and A Fish Called
Wanda (1988). Jamie Lee Curtis soon starred in the popular
action movie alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in True Lies
(1994) in which she won a Golden Globe for her performance.
In 1998 she starred in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)
in which she reprised her role that made her famous back
in 1978. During the 1980s, Jamie Lee Curtis was engaged
to Hollywood production designer J. Michael Riva, the
grandson of screen legend Marlene Dietrich, and Curtis'
godfather was MCA-Universal CEO Lew Wasserman. Jamie Lee
Curtis saw her future husband Christopher Guest on front
of a magazine and she gave her telephone number to his
agent. She has two adopted children named Annie (born
December 1986) and Thomas (born March 1996).
